Training courses

The Computer Society (COMSOC) of the DCS has conducted four seminars to recap ICT subjects and past examination papers to those students who are going to sit for the G.C.E. (A/L) to be held in August 2018. The seminars were conducted on the following dates and venues:

Members of DCS and the student participants highly appreciate this activity of the COMSOC.

The Computer Society (COMSOC) of the Department of Computer Science (DCS), University of Jaffna conducted two parallel workshop one in Mulliyavalai and another one in Polonnaruwa to recap ICT subjects and past examination papers to the G.C.E. (A/L) students. The workshop was held on 16th of July 2017 from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm in the following centres:

  1. Mullaithivu Educational Zone held in Vidyananda College, Mulliyavalai
  2. Polonnaruwa Centre held in Vilayaya Central College

In each of the two centres around 40 students have participated and have highly appreciated the activity of the COMSOC@DCS.
