Professor A. Ramanan of the Department of Computer Science, University of Jaffna, was honoured with the CSSL (Computer Society of Sri Lanka) Educator of the Year Award – 2024 in recognition of his significant national contributions to ICT education and the development of ICT knowledge in Sri Lanka. The award was presented in the presence of Prof. Chrishantha Abeysena, Hon. Minister of Science and Technology, Sri Lanka, at the National ICT Awards ceremony held on 14 October 2025 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo.
