Professor A. Ramanan was honoured with the National Educator Award (Bronze) 2025 in recognition of his excellence in teaching, scholarly work, and national contribution in the discipline of Computing. The award was presented by SLIIT Innovate during the awarding ceremony held at Monarch Imperial, Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte, on 26 November 2025. His Excellency Mr. Semih Lutfu Turgut, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkiye to Sri Lanka and the Maldives, and Senior Senior Professor Kapila Seneviratne, the Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour, respectively.
