Congratulations for getting your poster accepted for the poster session at SL-SWCS’21. You are requested to prepare a one-minute spotlight video presentation.
Instructions for spotlight video:
- You are asked to pre-record the spotlight video that addresses what is “novel and interesting” about your research with a one minute of time limit
- Focus on how you could clearly deliver a message that would entice your audience to ask, engage, and seek to engage in the poster session. So, don’t aim to “speak faster” and squeeze in as much as you can in the time allotted.
- In addition to the spotlight session, the author for each poster is expected to present their poster, address questions, and engage in discussions about their work during the poster session.
- Dress slightly better than the audience that helps you to create the first impression among your evaluators
- You can use only one slide for the spotlight video. An example video can be found at:
https://www.facebook.com/IEEESriLanka/videos/1057081611551823 - Two options for the video recording:
- You can record your video by your own, and send us the high-quality video on or before 28th of November 2021
- We strongly recommend you to do the recording of your spotlight presentation on Saturday 27th of November at CUL-II of the DCS from 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon in order to maintain a uniform background, same video quality, and aspect ratio. Mr. N. Thileepan (Web Chair/SL-SWCS’21) will perform the video recording for you.
- Please reach out to the Programme Chairs if you have any questions or concerns: Dr. A. Ramanan and Ms. J. Samantha Tharani.
