A Three-hours Lockdown Coding Competition for UoJ Students

The IEEE Student Branch and Computer Society(CompSoc) of the University of Jaffna(UoJ) initiated a Coding Competition to make students active in learning and improve their problem-solving skills during the COVID-19 lockdown period. The Lockdown Coding Competition was held on 18th of April 2020 from 6.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. for UoJ students only. The coding competition was conducted on the Hackerrank platform. 125 students from the University of Jaffna have participated in the competition. The winners of the competition will receive certificates during the awarding ceremony of the UoJCoders v2.0.

Thanks to the Executive committee of the CompSoc and the IEEE Student Branch of the UoJ, lecturers of the Department of Computer Science (DCS), alumni of the DCS for their support to conduct this competition successfully during this difficult time.
